Key Cutting

Our key cutting is on site, so we’ll come to you to cut the keys and ensure that they work in your locks.  We cut keys using modern machinery that not only have a very accurate cut, but they’re a lot quieter than older machinery too.

Lockouts

Lock Problems

Faulty, damaged, or worn locks could be repaired by our locksmiths, but where a lock is beyond repair, we’ll let you know and discuss replacement options with you.

Rekey Locks

When you’ve lost, had stolen, or misplaced your keys, you don’t always need to ‘change the locks’.  Many locks can be ‘rekeyed’ by Alba Locksmiths and having this done is much cheaper than replacing one or more locks.

You could also have your locks ‘keyed alike’ to reduce the number of keys you need to have; just ask one of our locksmiths.

Tip:  You’ve bought a new house, you’ve just got the keys, what do you do now?  You call Alba Locksmiths to book in a re-key of your new home’s locks.  You do this because you don’t know who has copies of these keys from the previous owner and could gain access to your home by using those keys.  Alba have had a few call-outs following burglary with no sign of a break-in and the police have reckoned that someone unknown to the new property owner has had keys to get in.

Choosing a safe isn’t easy, however, as there are many different types of safe to cover a myriad of requirements.  We can advise you on the best safes for your needs and you choose the one that you prefer.  We’ll supply and securely fit the safe for you – yes, a safe should be bolted into something suitable so that it can’t be carried off!
